KLAMATH COUNTY - A GOOD PLACE TO LIVE AND DO BUSINESS.

Klamath County is a place where outdoor lovers can live in the country; yet, be close to Klamath Falls and all its' conveniences. Birds, wildlife, and scenic beauty are abundant.

There are great city parks of which Moore Park is our favorite.  It’s a huge park with all kinds of hiking, biking, picnicking, etc. . .

Klamath Lake which lies adjacent and north of Klamath Falls offers great sailing, fishing, and water sports since it’s nearly forty miles long.

Klamath Falls has an emerging arts culture. It has a cultural theater where weekly, famed acts and muscians perform, and during the summer it offers the 3rd Thursdays Arts and Culture events, the Klamath Kinectic Challenge Race, Klamath Cruise, plus lots of other events.

Klamath Falls is the county seat of Klamath CountyKlamath County has abundant beauty and is an outdoor recreation mecca.  It is home to Crater Lake National Park, Sky Lakes Wilderness, Mountain Lakes Wilderness, and Lava Beds National Monument is a short drive south.  It has enormous national forests, numerous wildlife refuges, and many state and county parks which offer campgrounds, mountain lakes, rivers, creeks, and trails for hiking, canoing, biking, skiing, hunting, fishing, birding, snowmobiling, camping, etc. . . . – all within short distances of Klamath Falls.

If you love the serenty of nature, the fun of the outdoors, the convenience of a good sized city, a large enough population for lots of things to do, and you want the absence of big city rat race crud, then Klamath Falls scores a ten.

Here are some of my favorite photos of the area plus a few links.
