This quick study of a wolf was done at the Sagebrush Rendezvous Quick Draw contest in Klamath Falls. I chose a contented wolf because it had a good and positive feel about it. To meet the short deadline for the contest I focused only on the wolf, so i vinetted it and made a loose background.
