This Barn Owl is perched in the window stall of the old Holcomb Barn just east of Yreka, Calif. It was in unstable condition when I was asked to photograph it which was just before it was dismantled. It seemed the perfect setting for a barn owl to live and hunt. This is the same barn that Barnyard Hunter was inspired from.
