Harry and I were exploring the Oregon coast in February when we saw this scene at Bandon Beach. It had stormed all day, but when we got to the beach the storm cleared. What made it so great was that it coincided with a very low tide so that we could wander among the stone towers on the beach.
This painting won The Butler Family Gold Medal Award at the Emerald Spring Exhibition 2009, an international juried artshow in Springfield, Oregon.
