This is a scene on Black Mountain that I saw when I would go hiking. The backdrop is of the Cascades and Pilot Peak in southern Oregon. Red-tailed hawks are common on Black Mt., so I felt it very appropriate to this rock setting since both the hawk and dead brush seem to embrace the rock.
